How to Register on HFM (Open an Account)

This site is independent and contains affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you register through links on this page, at no extra cost to you.

This page shows how to register and open an HFM (HF Markets) account step by step — on the web and in the app — plus how to verify (KYC), which account type to pick, and what to do if the sign-up site is blocked. It's an independent guide; you register on the official HFM domain.

Honest note: HFM operates through an offshore entity (HF Markets, FSA Seychelles) and is not registered with Bappebti in Indonesia. Forex/CFD trading with leverage is high risk — most retail accounts lose money. Read the risk section before you open an account.

In short: to register on HFM you fill the sign-up form with your real details, confirm your email, upload an ID for KYC, and pick an account type. Opening the account is free (minimum deposit from $0); you only fund it when you're ready. The full step-by-step, requirements and after-registration checklist are below.

Register on the web (step by step)

  1. 1

Open the HFM sign-up page (button above), pick your country of residence (Indonesia), then enter your email or phone and create a password — or use "Continue with Google/Apple". Continuing confirms you're 18+.

Install the official HFM app (Play Store / App Store).

Tap "Open account" / "Register" and fill in your details.

  3. 3

  4. 4

Verification (KYC): what you need

To activate withdrawals and full features, HFM verifies your identity. Prepare a clear photo of a valid government ID (KTP/passport/driver's licence) and, if asked, a proof of address (utility bill or bank statement, usually recent). Make sure the name matches your registration exactly — mismatches are the most common cause of delays.

Which HFM account should you open?

HFM offers several account types. Beginners often start with Cent (micro lots, $0 minimum) or Zero (tight spreads). Pro suits more experienced traders ($100 minimum). Premium is swap-free with no minimum. You can also open a free demo account first to practise without risk before going live. Compare full specs on our accounts page before deciding.

Sign-up site blocked? ("Internet Positif")

If the HFM registration page won't open in Indonesia, it's usually ISP-level DNS blocking of offshore broker domains — not HFM being down. You can still register via the HFM app, the partner domain, a public DNS (1.1.1.1 / 8.8.8.8), or a VPN — always landing on an official HFM domain.

After you register: next steps

  1. 1

Verify your account by completing KYC so you can withdraw later.

  2. 2

Log in to My HFM (the Client Area) and set up two-factor security.

  3. 3

Make your first deposit when ready — several accounts start from $0.

  4. 4

Download MT4/MT5 or the HFM app and connect to your trading account.
